This is the title page to the second volume of the 1851 George P. Putnam first edition, version three. The title is printed in the upper quarter of the page with a period. The author's name, Elizabeth Wetherell, is printed in the center of the page with a period, followed by an inscription taken from the Henry Wadsworth Longfellow poem, "To a Child." Volume II is printed below this inscription, and the address of George Putnam is listed as, "155 Broadway, New York."
