The author's pseudonym Elizabeth Wetherell is printed in the page's middle. An inscription taken from Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poem, "To a Child," appears between two decorative rules. T. Nelson and Sons' address is listed as "London Paternoster Row and Edinburgh."
