This is the spine of the 1853 H.G. Bohn Reprint, Version 2. It is a faded blue, with what looks like some sort of gold design and publisher's mark. All words and designs have faded, as well as the edgings being frayed.

This is the spine of the 1852 T. Nelson & sons reprint, version 2. The cover is a blue wave grain embossed cloth labeled "Wav7det" by the Library Company of Philadelphia. Meandros borders are gilt-stamped at the top and bottom of the spine. At the top beneath the border is the title and author name, and beneath the title is the image of a woman and child. Title, author name, and image are gilt-stamped.
