This is the recto of the back advertisement in the [1853] Clarke, Beeton, & Co. reprint, version 1. The page is blank except for some minor foxing. There is a tear on the upper right hand corner.

This is a prize plate that was placed in an 1893 Thomas Nelson and Son's edition. It is inscribed with the words "From Michael Baker- April 1978" on the outer border. Inside the borders of the plate, it reads "

This is the preface to volume 1 of the 1852 Sampson Low Reprint. This preface was written by the editor, "a Clergyman of the Church of England."

This is the last page of the preface to the [1853] Clarke, Beeton, & Co. reprint, version 1. The top right corner is marked with the pages' roman numeral. At the end of the text the author of the preface, Charles B. Tayler, is named. Underneath Tayler is written "Otley Rectory, Ipswich, Dec. 23rd, 1853."
