The gentle, flowing colors of the aquatint illustration give a sense of lightness to the scene as the figures are surrounded by a nature that blends together through the colorful movement of the illustration.The name of the illustrator is written in the bottom right corner of the illustration, and a caption below the illustration reads, "You see that little white village yonder?"
